About The Book
“To the women I once loved” is a poem dedicated to women all over the world.
The book extolled the beauty and innate qualities of the women the poet has had romantic relationships with. The author also tries to define his naviety in understanding her entirely.
Each paragraph is written as tribute to the women who were once a part of Pierre’s life — whom he never understood and felt they were inadequate but soon realized that he should have pushed harder to understand them.
He also tried to express their qualities not seen by others because they’ve not paid close attention to them.
Their absolute tenacity in taking care of the home, the vanity of looking at her external qualities and ignoring the most important part of them.
Theme:
The beauty of a woman and her innate qualities.
The Value Added:
The book is written to every woman in the world struggling to fit in when they should stand out. It advices them to never look down on themselves or feel inferior. It also teaches the men how to love and learn to understand women better.
The scars they experience doesn’t define them but it should sharpen them
What I Loved:
I loved the fact that Pierre Alex Jeanty could pour out his mind in pages of the book.
Every chapter is worth the read and time expended on it.
I loved his choice of words in describing women. He understands his flaws and he should treat them better.
All women deserve love and attention.
The book is a must-read for every young man contemplating being involved in a romantic relationship or getting married.
I’ll rate the book a 4 star.
