To The Women I Once Loved Book Review by The Luminaries Bookclub

“To all the women I once loved” is an introspection of Jeanty Pierre. His profound feelings toward his past relationships and how they contributed to the man he has become.

“I sometimes wish I was mature enough to understand the magnitude of what you did then but it’s unfortunate that I was blinded by my immaturity.”

Pierre allows readers to see where he missed it in a way that is uplifting not only to the reader but also the women of his past. This literary piece is filled with hope and will salivate the soul of those waiting for love.

Personally, I love how he didn’t leave out details like physical features because it’s something every female can relate to. I almost felt someone was telling me those words while patting my back because it felt so real reading every single piece. But there were also checkpoints where you had to pause, and breathe because it gives you too much “feels” — you experience a surge of emotions.

To the Women I once loved is quite a romantic poetry book and should be read by every woman, especially those who have been heartbroken or dealing with insecurities because somehow, somewhere they lost the love they had for themselves and live in self-doubt because of past relationships.
