Novus Book Review By The Luminaries Book Club

I want more!

If all business development books were written like this, we all would have businesses.

I love the book. The story as a whole kept me glued to reading, but the underlying message it passed across made me fall in love with it.

NOVUS is written in the context every Nigerian can understand, yet the author passes his message across without compromising the work; the challenges and opportunities that will come an entrepreneur’s way. One profound truth in the book is that every business is an idea that was diligently worked upon. I think I can go further to say that everything we achieve today, as the human race, be it technological, societal and economical development, every system, and every institution was once an idea.

Leke writes NOVUS in a way that enables a budding entrepreneur understand the work that lies ahead while acknowledging the many fears he can face. He tells you that you can run faster than Usain Bolt in such a way that you actually start to practice your sprints. Reading NOVUS was an eye opener for me on the different aspects of a business. Creating and running a business is not easy, but NOVUS gives you hope, strength, courage and the drive you need.
